Who we are: We are a community of new and student pilots that want to learn more about flying. We share in the passion of flying and when we aren’t flying we like to talk about it.

A key benefit to this group is the opportunity to share information and meet other pilots.

This week's topics:

  • Advanced Pilot Training at ATP - Are you interested in getting your next certificate - commercial or rating - multi? Is it ATP right for you? What does ATP offer? Hear first hand from a pilot that received training from ATP recently.
  • Trip report from fly out to Columbia Airport (O22) for the Fourth of July. The town of Columbia pulls out all the stops each year to celebrate Independence Day.  The festivities start at noon with a parade up Main Street, a tradition that dates all the way back to 1852. You won’t believe the costumes and throwbacks to old-time Americana!
  • Trip report from the 5 day flying adventure in Colorado. Hear first hand about the recent mountain flying expedition to the Colorado Rockies. This trip departed San Carlos and flew to Salida, Colorado, the  home base for mountain flying adventure. Salida is situated among the best mountain passes and a few minutes south of the famous Leadville Airport, North America’s highest airport at 9927’. The return trip overflew the Grand Canyon on the journey back stopping in Las Vegas overnight before returning to San Carlos.
